What you have missed

At the RAMI section of Pharmaceutical Medicine meeting on November 14th 2013 Dr Mary Teeling, chair of the education committee of the APPI, announced the approval of the Higher Specialist Training Scheme in Pharmaceutical Medicine by RCPI. Dr Teeling gave an in-depth description of the newly approved training scheme and answered many questions from those present at the meeting. This news represents a significant milestone for the specialty of Pharmaceutical Medicine.

Also at this meeting Dr John O'Dwyer from NSAI presented an update on medical device legislation. Dr Graham Love, CEO of Molecular Medicine Ireland presented on clinical research/trials in Ireland.
